I have repeatedly said that the president of the United States has little influence over the economy, good or bad.

I've never made any statement whatsoever about presidents of foreign countries operating under different political and economic systems. I'd think that ought to be obvious, but perhaps not to some.

That said, I don't think you can present ANY evidence that Hitler's policy had anything to do with the economy of the mid-30s. It's immaterial in the context you present, but I still don't think you can show it.
