John, re the article on Lott from the: seattletimes.com . Try the link again, or go directly to the Seattle Times....another fellow from another thread read the article last night from the same link I posted here, so I know it worked then. Actually, I think that if the Democrats want to continue pushing the race issue on this (Gore, Jackson, Sharpton, etc), I think it will backfire on them BIG time! We no longer have to go to the library to the Periodical Index to look up magazine articles from years past. Chances are, we can find enough articles right here on Internet to stop that train in it's tracks. And I personally think that Lott should step down in the leadership role. Have said for several years, right here on SI among other places, that he reminds me of the "oily flimflam man"....Sharpton and Jackson do to....
