Not funny. Amazingly, if Lott were replaced as Majority Leader and resigned his Senate seat, Gov. Musgove could replace him with a Democrat. At this point Jeffords could conceivably flip the table again by becoming a Democrat. I'm mad at Lott, but resigning his seat is the last thing I would want him to do.
