Please explain. On it's face, your statement 'does not compute'. (I understand how 'definitional creep' could hijack such a squishy concept as "rich-poor"... but if the gap between "highest percentile owners of capital" and "lowest percentile" is measured as only a variance, than wouldn't such a measure be exclusive of the changes in overall national wealth and the average of rising incomes?) Please explain the statistical flaw you say they are using in these calculations.
