I am surprised. I thought more of you. This article is worth reading if there is any doubt about Gilder. It shows that Gilder is not worth reading. It is sensational. The logic is transparently weak. It creates a market "myth". It says that any venture the stands the "test" of the the market is "trustworthy".

I suggest that Gilder could have got even more attention if he used the Mafia as an example of an organization he "trusts." After all, drugs, prostitution, gambling, loan sharking, protection, fencing stolen property, extortion, etc. have all passed the "test" of the marketplace and the "test of time."
