I presume, of course, that you are referring to the short-selling camel. All I can say is that that is a very peculiar camel, in fact, a very elusive one. Indeed, I am getting the impression that many stories we have heard about about the camel emanate from its rear end and bear no relation to reality.

Why I say that is that the "arch-short-seller" by repute, namely JPM, seems completely unfazed by the rise in the gold price.

If I remember correctly the idea was that, if POG went over $300, JPM would not be able to cover its shorts and would go insolvent, or something similar. That certainly doesn't seem to be happening.
