But Lott isn't and hasn't been above playing to the white supremacists in his state. Now the whole Republican party is paying for having made him their leader in the Senate. I'm surprised you're trying to make such a political issue out of this. After all it's leading conservatives like William Bennett and Charles Krauthammer who are calling for Lott to step down, because of his statements at Thurmond's party. Why not take on your own for a change? It'll give you a little integrity for when you go back to personally attacking and insulting your political opponents. Steve
