You joke but I don't believe in trusting that our politicians always have our best interests at heart. Its been my experience that when you get to that state, its about that time they burn you.

I can see why you'd feel that way, being a liberal and all. Conservatives tend not to have these issues, as the people we vote for generally DO have our best interests at heart.

For example, had I voted for Clinton, then found out about his rape of Juanita Broaderrick or his abuse of power with respect to Monica, I'd have been highly offended, too (come to think of it, I didn't vote for him and I WAS highly offended...oh, well).

I recommend you vote Republican for a while. You'll find the people you vote for are much more respectable, for the most part...
