Hi Jay - any remarks about this Foreign Affairs magazine piece (I saw a pointer on another thread)

China's Governance Crisis

foreignaffairs.org

While longer wave than most might be concerned with, it would be interesting to get a sanity check on such an article. He paints a different picture than, say, a George Gilder :-)

Hi Jay, here's few minutes of my brain's activity caused by your post.

>>and I can pay off in one wallop out of zero interest yielding bank account, or simply sign my name for another nothing % loan in any number of currencies, including the HKD<< ... and they can even get you a car at zero down, zero interest, zero pymt for 12 mo as a courtesy for signing on the lease.

>>But, instead, my guess is that the hurt is now only causing vomiting, and not yet diarrhea, bleeding out of the nose and ears, and will increase in ferocity.<< Oh well, I'll stick to walking and I like my old room and the view that goes with it...

>>There will be plenty more bargains ...<< we'll climb out of hiding, nurturing Rambostyle our cash&Gold AKs - why do you guys think I been pumping iron since 99 ... and instead of burning up the whole d*n place go for a swim (we'll fight on the beaches). Chorus in the background: "I got plenty of nothing, nothing is plenty for me." & fade out.
