The discussion that was going on before FL declared it OT had to do with the Bush Administration's recently announced security strategy on the use of WMD.

I said that I agreed with the policy.

Apparently, you don't.

If you would care to cite portions of the document that you disagree with, and why, perhaps that might be a good way of starting a serious discussion on a serious issue.

Accusing people of being blood thirsty, etc., isn't all that conducive to a serious discussion, in my experience.

FWIW: Bill Joy lived in an apartment near ours in married students' housing while we were in grad school at Berkeley. Bill and I rode the bus together every day and shot the bull about computers and such (hmmm, wonder why I'm not driving a Ferrari and living in Aspen...).

Check for klc terminal in /etc/termcap, that's me.
