Speaking of "things are not always as they seem":

GuardedNet Appoints M. Thomas McNeight As President and Chief Executive Officer
Mon, July 29, 2002

...Previously, McNeight served as vice president of sales and then president and chief executive officer of Aurum Software, Inc., a leading provider of sales force automation and customer management solutions.

...McNeight serves on the boards of several strong technology companies including Extreme Logic, Forescout and FirstWave Technologies

techlinks.net

A former CEO of a competitor CRM company on the board of FSTW? And, also on the board of Extreme Logic?

My, what a small world we live in.

I wonder why McKneight's bio isn't on the FSTW BoD page?

I missed this MSFT PR when it was released back in June.

Microsoft CRM Crystallized
Reporting and analysis tools integrated into Microsoft's first .NET business solution; legitimate and proven partnership, says analyst

line56.com

"Crystallized" ... don't you just love editors and their creative efforts to make cute headlines?

It seems kinda' strange to me that the reporting module for MSFT's vaunted CRM was only "crystallized" 6 months prior to the launch date.

That makes me wonder just how much Beta'ing has been accomplished during Beta's one and two.

Mike, your "DIARY OF A SNOW SHOVELER sure brought back memories. I've earned my stripes in the land of cold weather. Four years in Alaska, three in Sault Ste Marie, Mich, eight in Minnesota and now six in Colorado. I still do go out to meet the first snow with a healthy shovel. But by Feb its really old stuff.

Cheers
