When Native Americans make them, then my answer would be "yes". Using humor to discuss/open up an issue is not necessarily a bad thing.

you know the important thing to remember about clinton's drunken irish slur was the context in which it was given.

i hardly think he was lamenting on the genetic predispositions of an ethnic group out of a medical or sociological interest.
