Look. I am not claiming liberals are not racist. I do see your point. But the source of liberal racism is quite a bit different and much more human than slaveowner racism. Liberals think blacks are incapable of standing firm and so wish to "keep" them. Slave owners thought blacks were incapable and crushed them as they did oxen. The two systems are abominable, but the former system has always allowed for the possibility that blacks are human and therefore free to make their own choices. That is a remarkable difference and it will not take a genius to see it. Were you to choose the system under which you would serve, you would certainly choose liberalism, unless you are the quintessential masochist.
