Well, there you have it nailed. I have no religiously based moral judgment. It is all a matter of philosophy, and the ethical part of my philosophy does not even depend on the existence of God, much less some ecclesiastical authority.......

Neo doesn't force his ethics or morals on anyone. He just states what he lives by and hopes others do. Kind of like you do.

Why do you feel you have the right to discount perspectives on morality simply because they could be reflected by religious doctrine?

I do so only when they are rote and mindless. Neo's POV, which I said more than once in this discussion that I respected, is neither rote nor mindless.

If a person's "rationale" regarding some moral principle is that "the Bible says so," well, that barely deserves an eye roll, IMO.
