The FBI never deserved the press it did get.

I've never worked with the law enforcement folks, so I can't point to any personal experiences. I have worked with some of the groups that are focused in the sciences and they are very good.

Rmember in the '50s and '60s the FBI pictured itself as Supercops Protecting The Free World From Commies? "I Led Three Lives"? At the same time the US gov't was in fact permeated with Soviet spies?

Hollywood vs. reality. There's a TV series ...CSI...pretty decent series...I don't think it'll ever be a classic, but it's decent. Remarkable things they achieve in that series.

One of the few Chandra Levy stories that I read [headline caught my attention]....Once the body was found, the crime scene was scoured for potential evidence. Numerous police were used to cover every "square inch" of the crime scene. Some weeks later the family had hired some private detectives that went to the crime scene and discovered some legs bones of Ms. Levy. Which were in the area that law enforcement searched every square inch of. That type of law enforcement work just won't make a good TV series.

Well, you know, this is difficult, since freedom of speech and the press don't exist in the US.

Have whoever set up the subject, change the header to include the pharse "First Amendment Zone".
