Hi Rose! Had a little party Saturday nite and my niece brought these and they were delicious. Thought you might like to try.

Cindy's Cheese Cookies
2 Cups of finely shreaded Cheddar Cheese
2 Sticks of Butter
2 Cups of Flour
Dash of Tabasco
3/4 to 1 Teaspoon of Cayene Pepper
2 cups Rice Krispies

Soften ingredients by letting set out for some time.
Combine Cheddar Cheese, Flour, add other
ingredients.....you can mix with a mixer........
add Rice Krispies last and do not use mixer.

Roll in balls the size of a quarter. Mash once with a fork. Cook 375 degrees

10-12 minutes checking to see if done........do not let burn. Cooking time depends on your oven.

You can add more Tabasco and Cayene Pepper to taste......
I use at least 1 teaspoon of
Caynee Pepper and 2 or 3 dashes of Tabasco.

Makes at least 6 doz.

Great change from all the sweet stuff. Sorta taste like cheese straws.
