Ted Re..For the record, do you think OBL has a valid point, and that we shouldn't have defended Saudi Arabia from Saddam. No.<<< If by your admission OBL is wrong, then why do you consider it a mistake for the US to have put troops in SA. D. Ray blamed Clinton for OBL because he didn't arrest him when he had the chance. I said that the reason OBL is after us in the first place is because Bush Sr. staged his Iraq war on Saudi soil. In OBL's mind, Bush despoiled the holy land. My point...........if you all expected Clinton to be clairvoyant and know that OBL was going to trash the WTC and you all also expect that Clinton should have violated international and arrest OBL and throw him in the pokey; then Bush Sr. should have known that he was staging his war on Islam's holy land; that in fact, Bush's transgression started the whole chain of events leading to 9/11 in the first place. Before you respond back......I think both accusations are ridiculous, and I think OBL is crazy and his complaint absurd. You can't defend SA by putting troops in Turkey; that is another border. Kuwait and Sa are on the other side of the country. If the US were to attack from Turkey, that would drive all of Saddams troops into Kuwait and SA, the very places we were trying to keep them out. Only a liberal could have convoluted thinking like that. My theory was that if you take out Saddam and Bagdad, you end the war. Secondly, why is OBL attacking all of the other countries, like Kenya, France today, Russia, Indonesia. None of those countries had troops in SA. ,/I> Because OBL is a religious fundamentalists and all of us are evil infidels and need to be killed. I am not a fan of OBL. ted
