Actually I lied. I really like gun registration. It makes my second business, supplying illegal guns to people who wish to commit crime, much more lucrative. Relatives in Dakar send me over replica fake Saturday specials with the serial numbers filed off when manufactured to hide their origin for our import division. We have a machine shop in the basement making gats for goons for those who prefer domestic quality and can afford it. ("Gats 'R Us"). Since the government's announcement of its determination to go ahead with its billion dollar boondoggle, we have tripled production and ordered another lathe. A side effect is that we now have to pay almost 3 times as much for a fake manifest to cross the border. That bin laddie fellah did not do us any favours. It seems that the market can bear the weight, as our customers are resigned to the higher costs, and in their business, a weapon is a necessity. I don't know if you have ever made a transaction on 5 kilos of cocaine in a field somewhere with a dozen Columbians, but I would recommend one of our products for piece of mind. Nevertheless, in spite of the increased business expenses of the new era, we opened a case of Champagne and toasted the new prohibition. It means we can leave our grandchildren that much better a business.
