I predict that Israel may have to buy the Golan Heights, that is if President Al-Assad is even willing to part with it at any price. No, the Golan Heights is now Israel's for keeps!!! Israel got the Golan Heights by CONQUEST after years of sheer hard work ---- spying, meticulous planning and organization. The GH is vital for Israel's survival and must not be given up! The pervasive thinking is that Arabs of any stripe are sneaky and cannot be trusted under any circumstances. <g> Remember the saying I told you about? ---- "Be anything but an Arab." ---- The Israelis have learnt a vital lesson: Hitler's conquest of Czechkoslovakia was very easy after the Germans managed to persuade the Czechs to hand over their "Golan Heights".
