Here is another free chart link that shows the US dollar index: charts3.barchart.com
This chart is very useful in trying to determine market direction and strength and is quite useful in comparing to the $XAU to get a better idea of future direction.Notice how the $XAU put in a bearish engulfing candle today and the $USD put in a potential reversal wide ranging doji star today......tending to confirm each other and the potential for near term reversal.Imo, useful and I would like to know what symbol IQC uses for it so I can navigate it easier than having to go to other chart services for this information. Barchart uses the symbol "DXH3".

Art,

We're looking for the equivalent of $USD. After an index search, I didn't see it, but I may be looking in the wrong place. I'll get back to you.

Regarding EPNY, IQ Chart has a filtering mechanism, which corrects most bad ticks after about 10 minutes - 2 hours, depending on the time frame you're looking at. We need this filtering mechanism to be conservative so that the software doesn't filter out true price spikes. This appears to be one of the times where it filtered out a true spike. This doesn't happen very often at all.

Thanks,
John
