EFAL or Paperwork Electronic Firearms Acquisition License The EFAL has to be the most ridiculous form you have ever seen. It is full of questions that could be answered by the local police, yet the local police are now out of the loop entirely. The form is cumbersome, it has attendant costs, and is totally arbitrary and in many cases unfair. The cost boondoggle is matched only by the Jane Stewart thing and in a matter of weeks many Canadians will become common criminals. There is no cure. I have no objection to obtaining a permit, but have you seen the form ? My sons may never get to hunt ducks quack quack qua BOOM
