Most people will take their cue from the courts rather than any spin added by the media. I have found that this is not always the wisest thing to do in many cases, the Canadian legal system is no stranger to bad judgements. In a large majority of simple torts, legal findings are usually indicative of the common weal.

Then the only hope is to see two Liberal Parties, call them the Jeanlibs and the Paulibs, then Canada can be a five party system run by minority government, that would mean the the return of the NDP as an effective political force.
