LONDON, December 18 (Bloomberg) --
The Bank of England reported today that it had taken deposit
of Andorra's gold reserves under an agreement to provide
the tiny country in the Pyrenees with an annual return
of 43 pesetas through gold leasing.
The bank's governor, Sir Edward George,
said the Andorran reserves included a dozen Louis d'Ors
in excellent condition and a nice linen sack besides.

Dow Jones] JP Morgan recommends buying gold on dips, noting "larger bullish bias remains" despite pausing from bull run after break of key $340.50/oz resistance yesterday, short-term overbought signals on intraday charts. <<FRANKFURT, December 17 (Reuters) --
With the gold price flirting with $340, Bundesbank President
Ernst Welteke announced today that Germany would consider
selling its remaining national gold reserves...
as soon as we can get them back."
"We know just where they are too," he insiste>>

This is 48th time German central bank is announcing this year plans to sell gold. Problem they facing only gold avaible for sale by Germans is still deep underground in S.Africa.

BTW, Greenspan & co. are in the deep shit with the suit filed against Barrick. If they have any unsold reserves left they will dump it, we might see sudden reverse in POG, but IMO will be short lived.
