So the question left for a voluntary, very large, insurance pool is whether it is too self-selective for bad risks and thus extremely expensive. Someone probably has the answer to that question.

Lawyers and court system is a big problem.. Many doctors leaving Pa. due to cost of insurance.. They are dropping out of practice or moving to another state... We have a big problem of irresponsible democrats imo who take the money from the lawyers to support them and then consciously block limits for tort cases etc.

How can you support these millions of dollar awards for some of the these medical cases in beyond me.

There is a town in the south that has been awarding unbelieveable awards and the lawyers take all their class action suits to this one town.. I forget where it is located .. saw it on sixty minutes or someother type show.

Perhaps if we got the government to spend some money on computer and software upgrades we could track the doctors that are pill pushers... All we need is the govn. to start investing in tech and get this recovery on the way.. They are still in the dark ages.. Security, etc. but that is another story. see ya John

JDN,
>Many people get free healthcare as part of their job.<

This delusion is a major factor driving healthcare costs through the roof.
