Around Thanksgiving, I quit watching tv and I stuffed the newspaper unread into the recycling bin for several weeks. We were fed up with the news. When we tuned in to the local news, we wondered: how many people were shot in Tacoma in the past 24 hours. If these shootings had been advertised as terrorist attacks, every major tv station would have sent crews.You would have read about the shootings in the major newspapers as well. Since Bush's yap on Iraq is always the same, you don't have too watch the national news either. I hope Pat is okay. The storms in the San Francisco area have been horrible. Today, it was windy at my house, but when I went downtown, there was very little wind and very few people. It wasn't as cold down there either. Amazing! Have you finished your Christmas shopping, TP? (LOL)
