He has failed to clean up the mess fast enough for me. He worries about tits on a statue instead of illegal immigrants crossing the border or prosecuting corrupt politicians. He will be ineffective on judicial nominations, even with a republican senate. And he says stupid things.
All in all, a big disappointment.

I watched Ashcroft a little on Larry King, and King asked him what he would say to the people that think he has overstepped his constitutional bounds, and John told Larry that it is those people's right and duty to speak up and/or file lawsuits so that the point in question can/will be proved right or wrong.

Many people that hate John Ashcroft hate what they do not understand. They hate him because of his belief in God. He is the real McCoy and they do not like that. If our country has progressed to a point that a God fearing moral man cannot be AG, it is a sad state of affairs.
