Mostly, it's agreed that Saddam is a dictator who's worth removing, but there's probably a majority against war solo - certainly there is for action without UN approval and/or on some spurious pretext which is plainly as faked as the Polish invasion of Germany in 1939... (e.g., aiding al Quaeda).
The criticism however is muted at the moment because the Tories are in total disarray, and anyway (being RW) are even more inclined toward the Republican agenda.

Blair is also widely depicted as Bush's mouthpiece, and that's the more flattering orifice...
