Please don't get it wrong - many tech companies are worth owning but not at current P/E's.

Why would anyone purchase Cisco today with TTM P/E of 36? Cisco is not growing earnings or revenues anywhere near the level required to support a 36. Greater fool theory?

Great company but way too expensive in today's environment.

Back to work...trying to sell something before Christmas ;)

Quite a lot of tech hardware companies are worth something -

but that something is about 1/3 their current market cap...Contrast with dot coms, which were worth like 1/100 of thier peak value.
