Because it is possible that that most of the above fifty guys are not as good with Joysticks and predators as the young generation.

But it could be disputed. After all, Bill Gates made everybody equal on some of his top guns programs...

For the same reason that few football players make it past forty, and few CEOs are under forty: combat takes a steep physical toll, especially on infantry and other "grunts", and leadership depends on maturity and experience.......
