Lott's behavior puts that hope into question. There is no evidence to suggest Lott is racist. Not one person has come forth with any evidence. But what he DID do was put his foot in his mouth and give the liberals an opportunity to undo the administration's work. And for that, he has to go. And now, he is pandering to the black community through his appearance on BET. For THAT, he has to go. But he isn't a racist, anymore than you are. I'm not trying to assert that Democrats are any worse than Republicans. But it is not accurate to suggest that Republicans tend toward racism any more than Democrats. At least you can count on Republicans to dicipline their own; we know for a fact that Democrats do not, under any circumstances, do so.
