That is kind of strange, though the Lebanese generally do the best versions of Middle East cuisine. The two ME restaurants I most commonly go to are run by Lebanese. Also, an unusual number of French restaurants I have patronized were run by people from Lyons. Not all, but many. It would be like living in France and discovering that most of the steak houses were run by guys from Chicago: like, why?
