We also have another neighbor who moved out here 30 years ago and planted her yard about 80% pines which are now mature. She has all kinds of birds and the deer feed 6' from her 12' tall windows. It's not unusual to watch 15 hummingbirds at a time in her back yard. Plus she has 2 pairs of Great Horned Owls, a pair of Redtailed Hawks and a pair of Sawwhet Owls nesting in her yard. I gave the toads that breed in her water garden. There'r so many water gardens in my area that seeing a Great Blue Heron is an everyday experience.
