Padnah,

i don't like the auction method for buying and selling.
i'm not emotionally mature enough to handle it.

Here's what I do so I don't make myself crazy.

I figure out what I'd be willing to pay for something.
I put it in my watch list along with all of the others that
I see for sale.

Then I try to be there and bid the my top price with under
1 minute to go.

If I get it, I get it.
If not I wait for the next one. Sometimes it takes a while
to find one that the nimrods didn't already bid up on ya.

Putting in your top bid early is pretty much a waste
because someone will almost always bid a touch higher.

I often wonder if the big sellers use a different ID to
help bid up an item for sale. I can almost bet that they
do.

but there has to be a way to insert yerself as an extra
middleman in those transactions in an automated way that
would make you money for nuthin'... when you figger it
out, send me a pm.

The dude who invented PayPal beat us to it. He sold the
company to EBAY now and it makes transactions much easier
it appears.

I'll keep thinkin' though. There must be a way to get in
on it like you said. <g> <ng>

If there is an avid collector of belly button lint I'm sure
we'd make a killin'.
