twfowler,

The 2000 voice of the voters was overturned by a liberal.

Lott's attacks are the liberals trying to overturn the 2002 voter's choices.

The voters have had enough of the liberals and their media dogs.

2004 will continue the disintegration of the liberal democratic party.

Steve

Comments from a very liberal

James Carville defended Lott on Crossfire tonight.

You have to question the motivation -- I wonder if they may want to keep Lott where he is because they can make political hay out of it later.

Comments from a very liberal (even if a somewhat unconventional one) poster on another thread about Lott.

First off, read my post to D. Ray. To some extent, I too feel sorry for him. I don't think he was thinking very carefully about what he was saying. However, I also think that's pretty standard with him..........he doesn't see how offensive his position is. The result had been several negative episodes in his career.

Secondly, I could forgive his comments at the Thurmond bash if there wasn't a history behind it. The man has pushed on racist issues for years now. This turns out not to be news. And he's not what we need in this world.

Having said that, politically, its in the best interest of the Dems. if he stays as Majority Leader.
