Whatever,....All I am doing is giving my guess, just as you are giving your assessment,nothing more.

IMHO---Bush would not be so aggressively wanted to get rid of Saddam if the risk of large casualties was high.
What did the republic guard do last time during the Gulf War? Nothing. I recall all the talk about this "elite" group of soldiers back then as well.

These days battles are easily won just like 1991. Not like the old wars. Once you know you have no chance against your enemy, then it is already over.

Just my opinion and we can disagree of course. We shall see how it ultimately unfolds. Maybe we can make our predictions when and if the battle starts.
