Howdy, Ira Player… I go to other technology boards, including the great Gilder Technology Forum, and it seems that generally all of them are not in a great shape. After almost 3 years of devastation people are getting tired of it. What’s the point of being right on technology if the Bear keeps hitting you over the head?

You may say that the economy and the markets will come back, but the question is, When? Besides, I am keeping a close enough track of things from a TA point of view. I expect that when things do bottom I won’t be the last guy to find out.

I am relatively new here on AMAT, but heck, I am willing to join a good conversation wherever I can find it… if I get accepted, that is. A good conversation isn’t something that can be made to order, it just happens. Check other “political” threads, and you’ll find that most are not all that good. This one is. Besides, where else can you find such an interplay of politics and personalities as between Mike and Zonder? (at least during the periods when they are on speaking terms –g).

Undoubtedly, when Tech comes back the tech guys will take over again. In the meantime, for the time being, perhaps AMAT purists could start a (moderated) thread, something like “AMAT – no politics”.

Cheers, and good luck. Ski.
