i got it.

here's another one that i learned
from a young lady on the bus. she's only
20 but she likes music from the 60's and
70's - on vinyl...

she waits a couple days after the auction period
has expired. then she emails the seller and asks
them if it sold and she makes them a lowball
offer. she gets a lot of oldies very cheap.
