The what to do if the sirens sounded(it depended on how many times the siren sounded) were on the radio constantly. i and the person i was with were out in the open in this totally deserted park because why kid ourselves, if it happens we are dead where ever we were--it was NYC territory). But that war was stopped only because we guaranteed Russia we would NEVER invade Cuba if they got their missiles out of Cuba. Max P.S.
