You've got to be kidding...."that source" is FBI data.....and the facts are staring you right in the face...this chart should make it very obvious.... And btw, NY's crime rate as well as well asthe national crime rate began dropping about 1990, about 7 years before NY got the death penalty which has never been used.

Your link is very interesting, however I wonder why the authors didn't show any empirical data to support their conclusions...Do you understand their model???? If so, maybe you can simplify the math for us. Here is another interesting fact that they identify..They say that murder rates in small cities is higher than in larger cities, you believe that...and their best conclusion of all is that they say that increasing NRA membership is associated with increasing murder rates... Are you a gun owner or member of the NRA?
