That's a Wade Connerly idea (he HAPPENS to be black, BTW). He wants t get it on a ballot prop in CA, because his previous efforts to eliminate racist AA in California have been avoided by the entrenched Marxist/Leninist white racists who run that state...

As CK stated it was Ward Connerly, who at the time was a regent at UC. The racists tagged him with the "Uncle Tom" label or "race traitor".

I like his idea but I can't see the race issue being avoided in face to face interviews. Maybe someone else who has interviewed could explain if this is a weakness that could be minimized.
