It's remarkable how the RW's sudden grave concern with the concept of colorblindness in matters of race coincides with the introduction affirmative action during the past couple of decades. I don't recall any such outcry from the Goldwater folks when governmental and private-sector race-concsious decisions inevitably inured to the benefit of white folks like ourselves.
