I know it's a complete pain not having your usual information/routine prior to planning the trading day, but to be fair to Velo, this is an extremely rare occurence and one that seems beyond his control.

I agree that it would be nice to have the info here at The Den but I class this board as an "extra" - he's under no obligation to post here - but does it for free and the extra tit-bits I glean during the day are extremely useful.

That said, I do feel for those who think they would have made extra dollars today with Velo's info....but surely nobody here is relying purely on his info to make trading decisions?

I'm off to find my fire-proof suit now as I await a flame or two!

Yvonne

Oral - you might want to look at signalwatch.com -- the Dow discussion does not require a subscription -- of interest is their rule of not trading in the first 30 minutes - intellectually I agree but just cannot stop from pulling the trigger and it seems like I also shoot myself later. They also don't trade in the last 30 minutes which I strongly disagree with.
What we need is a plan or input in the last hour so that we know how to close the day better in anticipation of the open which lately seems to be pretty violent. Good Luck
