if the chinese are buying, then the gold short carry traders are in dip doodo. The Chinese have traditional, for 1000's of years, values gold above all other assets.

With the new surpluses the country have been enjoying, the Chinese are the only one capable of breaking the Gold Short partnerships in the Western World.

On a social level, the chinese are the least envious of the American cultural dominance in the world.

But why run the price up on yourself? Its not only the matter of one wanting to acquire some gold that is raising questions. It is the pace at which the buyer feels the need to acquire it.
