Yeah, probably true most of the time. It seems a lot of people are thinking along the same lines. GG taking a pretty good hit today despite the good announcement and the spot price being up day over day. I toss a mental coin and that picture of a Chinese woman buying a little gold bar keeps popping into my head. It's been at least 50 years since ordinary Chinese citizens have been able to buy and sell gold (at least legally). Given their long history with paper money defaults, will this create a real change in the gold equation? I don't know, but the odds aren't compelling enough for me to unload today. Caveat Emptor as always. CD
