I was looking to you as one who knows what is going on in southern politics.... You say blacks are getting into politics but can't hazard a guess at how many or what party they belong to.
So can you quantify anything about the racial mix of politics in the south? Just saying blacks are getting into politics says nothing....anyone would expect that, especially in segregated areas where I expect most black politicians would be found. Have you any opinion as to why there are no black republicans in Congress and also why there are so few black democrats in Congress....?? Lack of black representation at the national level from the south must mean something to you....

BTW, what state are you from???
