it's news to you that clinton referred to the irish principles working on a peace accord " like drunks?" was clinton making a joke? he was kidding?? is it permissible for bush to publicly slur the jews and the palestinians if peace talks resume?? no, clinton apologized for using a poor "metaphor" and so has lott...the only difference is the clinton's slur was glossed over and lott will be forever tainted with the scarlet letter of prejudice.. the hypocrisy and double standard is that one got a pass and another will pay a price (at least i hope so)
