Bingham Legg: An Iraq Conflict Already Factored In 18 Dec 16:51 NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--A war with Iraq is already factored into the market, according to Peter Simmons, President of Bingham Legg Advisors. "From the beginning there was an expectation ... that there would be some type of military intervention at some point," he said in a CNBC interview Wednesday. If we attack Iraq, the war will be measured against the Gulf War in both intensity and duration, Simmons said. However, this war "won't be that quick or decisive," he added. Simmons investments have become more cautious, with more cash and bond holdings than under more normal circumstances.
