cb...

that is a really sad, disheartening story

a person's reputation, once lost is incredibly hard to restore....assuming you ever get the chance.

over the past 10 or 15 years, i have been increasingly dismayed at the lack of personal integrity that i have seen in business...

so far i have been very fortunate to not have the experience of dealing with it first hand...

but i know several others who have.

I should clarify that my former friend did not wait to steal from these rather wealthy old people after they died, and their wealth was going to an environmental group which, arguably, could afford it.

No, he stole from them while they were alive, gaga, and in a nursing home, taking money he knew he could not repay.

There are worse things to do but this is certainly among the lowest of the low.

Maybe on a par with attempting to rob a store carrying a plastic gun.

Sorry to hear about your friend's weakness.... Thing's like that can really hurt.
