The press is making such a big deal out of what he said, and the Republicans are jumping on board. They are so afraid of offending the blacks.

The Republicans don't have the black vote anyhow, and now they've lost almost all hope of ever attaining it...The thinking blacks vote Republican..It's that simple.

Do you think the blacks will ever let this issue drop? Of course not..not as long as they are controlled by Jackson, Sharpton, and the like.

I know that is not at all what Lott meant! In this day and age, any congressman would be stupid to make a derogatory statement about any race, and Lott may be a wimp, but he's not stupid.

I'm still questioning why Byrd, Hillary, and the likes get a free ride on this issue.
