Minor surgery to mimic one for Spheramine. Hope that there is no side effects related to surgery. Those are sick people and they need help, not to be treated like rats. Anyway, I will eliminate placebo controlled for all PIII trials, IF possible. Any new drug should be tested against something. So comps can not claim superiority or non-inferiority relative to what is on market simple based on placebo data. If they want premium price they should do premium trials. Then US will not have problems with generics and healthcare benefit will be very easy to calculate. Recent trial with diuretic versus ACE/Ca-B point where are weak points in US system. I think that I learned one thing very quickly when immigrated to US. American (in general) can be sold on everything. News/media control. No offense, but it is my view. Miljenko
